depends on the belt. Like mentioned you can get a cog belt or actual serpentine belt. The load I would imagine would depend on the thickness of the belt. If you only got a 3 rib honda belt I don't think it would hold much but if you got the 6 rib powerstroke diesel belt I would imagine it would hold quite a bit.
