The Prague system has a third 'prong' sticking back out of the socket into the plug and this will clash with some UK adaptors. Mine have always worked in Europe but not in Prague. The diamond-shaped ones are fine, like the ones you might get on the end of a power lead if you buy a European item, but the straight adaptors may not work.
